After much deliberation, I've decided to go another route for my off-road project. Though I love the looks and attention driving this beast creates, I've found the vehicle I was looking for before I bought the Cherokee. Here's what I have: 1980 Cheroke Laredo, 360 V8, 727 trans. 6" Skyjacker spring lift. 33" all terrains. Gladiator grill and round headlight conversion. New radiator. Factory grill guard with KC lights. Hood vents. (These are fender louvers from a '78 Z28 set at the rear and below the outside edge of the center bulge, they are functional, look factory, and should have been an option). Not on the vehicle, but also included: TT FabWorks rear shackle flip (still in the box). Novak Enterprises Chevy motor mount swap kit (still in the box). M715 front facia, header panel, and 4 front fender flares. Rust free spare tailgate. Rust free front inner fenders. Custom instrument panel. Nice spare tan dash pad (no cracks). Spare (fire truck? came off a 715, and not factory) brush guard, HEAVY! 6.2 Diesel, turbo 400 trans., and 208 transfer case (out of a 49,000 mile CUCV). I'm asking $4,800 for everything. If I separate I'll adjust costs, but individually everything will be more. This is a great deal as I have over $7,000 invested to date in this project. I have a few pictures, if interested PM me so I can get them to your e-mail. Jeep is located in Colonial Heights Virginia. Thanks, Jim.
